A group of survivors treks their way towards civilization while dealing with a growing tribe while facing starvation and the dangers of a scorched landscape coupled with deadly predators.

NEW WORLD is a Film Makers First Time short film visual experiment working with first time actors creating a storyline fitting to the locations available andlimited resources. Casting was done locally in South Texas by a HMA Talent Agency & Hess Models. Filmed by Jonathan Hess & George Garza in Hidalgo and Cameron Counties and on South Padre Island, Texas.
